FF FOUNDATION 2016 “Walk for MSA”

Oluwafunmilayo Khafasat Fashina Foundation is a private trust championing the Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) cause in Nigeria.

In her profound effort to provide information and create awareness about multiple system atrophy, FF FOUNDATION organised an awareness walk tagged “Walk for MSA” on the 20th of August, 2016. The walk  which had formerly taken place at Lagos Island, Ikoyi, Maryland and Lekki.

This time we decided to stage the walk from Toyin Street, Ikeja to Ikeja City Mall via Alade Market to and back. This resulted to a total of 10.4 kilometres.


Participants at the walk consists of Doctors, Caregivers, Physiotherapists, Journalists, friends and families  of the Foundation. Each participants were given a free customised FF FOUNDATION T-Shirt and wristband.


Security of the participants was accomplished by the men of the Nigerian Police Force while traffic control was handled by the LASTMA officials assigned to the walk.

Long after the 10.4Km walk, light refreshment was served to participants after which a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation; Ms Kemi Onabanjo, gave a brief lecture about MSA and the activities of the Foundation.


Toluwase Fashina, the son of Funmilayo Fashina who we lost to MSA about four years ago said the vote of thanks with appreciation to support partners like Mobil Nigeria, Eco Bank Plc. Accenture, Anu Eso& Co, Pedabo Professional Service, Doctors, caregivers and participants at the walk.
