Funmi Fashina Foundation, in her continued effort to spread awareness, provide vital information and join in the research for the cure of Multiple System Atrophy (MSA).

FFFOUNDATION organised an awareness walk on the 24th October 2015 which was tagged “WALK FOR MSA”.

The walk was staged in Lekki Pennisula, Lagos Nigeria (Lekki Phase 1). It was attended by friends, families, well wishers and neighbours. The walk kicked off at exactly 8:00am after all participants had been registered and also given a FREE FFFOUNDATION T-SHIRTS.

The route plan was to walk from Number 1 Adebayo Doherty Street to the beginning of Admiralty road down to the end of Ikoyi Bridge then back to Adebayo Doherty Street. This was about 8.66Km in all.

Participants at the walk were escorted by some officials of the Nigerian Police Force to help protect and control traffic along the route.

After the 8.66km walk, there was a brief review of MSA by the BOT Secretary, Mr Anu Eso, the activities of the foundation and the purpose for the gathering after which light refreshment was served to replenish energy level.

FFFoundation would like to use this medium to say a big thank you to everyone that came out to support us on the day. It could not have happened without you.

Our appreciation also goes to AEC LEGAL, members of Lekki Express Magazine, the Nigeria Police Force, Eco Bank Nigeria and Mobil Nigeria.
